Media notes

response to playback; song from both male and female birds perched close to each other in a nearby juniper tree. The male bird is giving the clearer, louder notes, while the female gives the buzzier, quieter, and less variable notes, as well as the short evenly pitched ones thrown in every now and then. She also gives the long 'trill' call near the beggining fo the cut, immediately after flying in to the tree where the male was singing. They typically moved around as a pair, with the female bird flying after the male when he flew.
