Observation details
Originally found by Ken Tay, photos produced confirmed Little Buttonquail. Located fairly easily in northern section of grassy circle - probably a bit lucky. Flushed and flew short distance showing diagnostic white underparts and yellow wing panels. Joined by Ken, Dan & Oakley were successful again re-locating, eventually flying into Casuarina thicket. A new bird for Royal Park and 1 of first for inner-city Melb.
