Observation details
Flew over head calling and quickly landed in wet Picklegrass area (46.9441955, -124.1554581) where lots of Pectorals were hiding too. I was unfamiliar with the call it was giving, a quick high pitched “Do-Wee”. From underneath it looked so buffy and larger I thought it was a Buff-breasted. It flushed again at one point when other Pectorals flushed, and I’m not sure where it went but I was able to get a recording of it calling then. I eventually found recordings of Sharp-tailed that match what I heard. Photos are from when it originally flew over me.
