Observation details
Continuing bird found by Ron Thorn this morning, large brownish sparrow, extensive white wing patch on folded wing, very thick bluish-gray bill, heavily streaked on flanks and breast, pale eye strip, dark mustache stripe, white throat patch. When it took flight, white tips were seen on retrices. It was associating with at least one (possibly two) Lark Sparrows around the Yacht Club area. They were really on the move in a somewhat wide circle around that area, land for a moment, then off again, but managed a couple of photos.
