NOTES: THE 'CHEWP' CALL IS ALMOST CERTAINLY VOCAL; WHILE THE SPATTERING AND WINNOWING SOUNDS SEEM TO BE MECHANICALLY PRODUCED (BY WINGS?). MALE PERFORMING A PENDULUM FLIGHT A FEW FEET IN FRONT OF FEMALE, WHO WAS PERCHED QUIETLY ON A TWIG 6M ABOVE THE GROUND. LNS NOTE: Unbroken cut with internal recordist announcement/handling noise gain change (MJA, 07 July 2005). Other Behaviors: Court, Perform Visual Display. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Coniferous Forest.
