Pond 3 bird
Observation details
Juvenile; photos. Perhaps two birds. I found the first bird in the F row ponds in the same place where it had been seen all day. After birding out toward Pond 3, I found the same or another juvenile Stilt Sandpiper in that pond, roosting with dowitchers. About 20 minutes later when I checked the F row ponds on my way out, a Stilt Sandpiper was in the same pond as when I initially arrived. So either there were two birds, one in the F Row ponds and one in Pond 3, or the F row pond bird jumped over to Pond 3 and roosted and then moved back to the same pond in the span of 20 minutes, which is possible. I never saw two at once, so I'm leaving the count at 1 individual, though I have included photos of all three occurrences here.
