Observation details
This bird confused me. It appeared to have too much blue in its lower parts to be a pure LAZB. It made me wonder about a hybrid bunting or young INBU. Ultimately I think Brian Sullivan and Matt Hafner keyed into the right detail. The relevant feathers appear wet and/or matted and showing bluish-gray bases, and so the feathers aren't truly blue. That combined with apparent wing bars and other details seem enough to just call this a HY LAZB. Certainly open to any other opinions. Pardon the hazy quality - foggy and shooting through a window screen.
