Observation details
A bit early. Flushed from tobosa grass near the intersection of C-04 & C-05. Landed in a mesquite and offered decent looks. Ammodramus with white eyering, flat head, relatively short tail, yellow loral area, rufous in back and wings. Two thick, dark crown stripes seperated by a pale median stripe. Photo to come. Known from these grasslands during the later fall and winter
