Media notes
This recording was made at the foot of the mountain next to the houses.
Observation details
It is distinguished mainly by the very dark plumage, with the very dark «infra-alar» covers, and by calling shrill. Although it is relatively easy to distinguish from swallows, the Common Swift can easily be confused with its pale-swift congener, which may also appear black in unfavorable light conditions, but this was not the case. This species is one of the last to leave.
