Observation details
Foraging in the pool just south of the bridge, together with several Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs. Distinguished from the yellowlegs by their long drooping bill, more boldly patterned back, and their feeding behavior. We saw them on both sides of the creek when we began our paddle, and they were still in the same location about two hours later when we returned. Photos.
