Observation details
I was photographing Semipalmated Sandpipers when Kathleen yelled "jaeger! jaeger! jaeger!" I looked up and there was a Pomarine Jaeger right above our heads. It circled and passed us again then landed with a group of gulls on the shingle beach (43.392033, -65.616697). I walked up to it and it let me get quite close before flushing. It didn't appear to have any problems flying, but likely had something wrong. Later we found it sitting on the flats about here (43.397922, -65.621807).
