Comments

Call given by a single bird that flushed to the side of the road when we drove up. Several other members of the family group flushed to the other side. We heard another bird give this call from a lawn nearby. This time, from about six meters away, it was given so softly we could hardly hear it. Habitat: Scrub-edged field. ML: Subject changed by ML archival staff from Colinus virginianus to Colinus virginianus [virginianus Group] following eBird/Clements v2016. -Jay McGowan, 3 Aug 2016. Other Behaviors: Flush. Habitat: Scrub, Edge.
