Observation details
Continuing adult at this location since 8/15/2020. Found around 6:15 pm at about 3 1/4 mile levee marker foraging in the south west and shallow part of the lake, at the edge of tamarisk trees. After a short observation, we saw the bird fly over the levee, north into the back basin, and then land at a small drying pond at mile marker 2 3/4. We then moved to that location, and observed it at a distance through scopes. This bird was very active and feeding at both locations. Photos to follow.
