Observation details
Juvenile. Black tern with white spots and brownish hues on back. Possibly weak or injured as I observed it flapping its wings but only going about a foot off the ground. Located on the grassy edge of the flats just past the boat ramp turnoff. It is away from the other terns and gulls. Lots of photos.
