Pretty solid views! Phalarope sp. Black eye patch/mask and cap. Gray mantle. Yellow base to the beak; distinguished from Red-necked. Actively feeding. Preened itself for a while. Extremely bold individual. Seen on 18th March 2016 for the first time in Bhigwan. Photographed. Additional Notes: I noticed that this is the first eBird record for India. But this is not the first sighting in India (although the first one for our region). A handful of previous records exist from India. Adding a few links that might help.
