Media notes
Adult, about 1 week early, typical arrival date here is on the Vernal Equinox, annual at this location since 1998, max count ever seen is 25, more typically 2 or 3 in recent years. They have been observed copulating at this location, but typically go off somewhere nearby to nest(Mt. Olympus?), but often return in July with a juvenile. Nesting location must be close because they visit the feeder daily from April through mid October.
