Observation details
Nearly all white heron. Some slate blue at tips of primaries.Body size of Ring billed Gull or smaller. Two tone dagger-like bill, dark outer, pale inner. Long legs and large feet yellow-green, similar color as inner beak. Eyes white with hint of yellow. Stalking shoreline, catching minnow size fish. Initially spotted at top of tall cottonwood. Roosted on boat canopy with flock of ring bills between feeding. Viewed with binoculars and telescope. Landed briefly within 20 feet on my dock. Have seen hundreds of Little Blues, ad and imm, in FL throughout life. Photos and video available.
