Observation details
Saddle-billed Storks (Ephippiorhynchus senegalensis) are near-endangered. They feed mainly on fish, but also take frogs, other vertebrates, crustaceans and aquatic insects. This pair was feeding on small fish on the Tsendze River Causeway in Kruger National Park as a nearby Nile Monitor (Varanus niloticus) watched on.
