Media notes
I've submitted this to the New Mexico Ornithological Society for verification. I think this is the earliest sighting for this rare bird ever in New Mexico. Very Exciting. The pair flew by the very moment I stepped out of the car and began my walk. I first thought they were Curlews. It all happened so fast, I wished I would have been more aware of what they were. They flew off quickly.
