Media notes

natural vocalization; calls from a group of 20 or so birds on a gravel beach, given as they squabbled over a scrap of food. After the first bout of calling the birds split up somewhat, and the calling frequency and interval lessened as they settled down. Most of the birds were light to intermediate individuals, with a few dark and young birds thrown in.
