Observation details
First seen today by Jeff Davis. Many thanks to Holly Merker for passing on the report, and to Jenn McIntire for sharing where she saw and giving us pointers! Seen soaring directly overhead as soon as I got out of the car. Unmistakable kite with white belly, long, pointed, black-and-white wings, and forked tail. It circled overhead for a few minutes, then flew South. I lost it behind trees after it was already quite distant. See pictures.
