Media notes
Five edited recordings of the same two birds, although one does most of the singing. Calls from both are heard in the first cut and additional calls appear in the remainder. Seventy-nine songs altogether and half a dozen song patterns. I could have recorded more of these birds, but it was getting dark and I had a half an hour walk back to the parking lot. Calls of American Robin heard in a few places, and a cicada comes in on the last cut. Also a high-pitched insect sound presumably from a ground cricket. Normalized to -3 dB except for voice announcement at -10 dB. 24-bit/48 kHz WAV files edited with Ocenaudio.
Observation details
Two of these birds were vocalizing near trail. They started out calling and one then sang, exhibiting multiple song patterns. Audio obtained.
