Observation details
Continuing rarity. Resting, then spooked by a boater. Gave nice looks flying over lake, and soon landed not far from originally spotted, on rock jetty near pier. Beautiful long thin upturned bill, black and white wings, long gray legs, buffy head, neck and upper breast. Seemed quite at home!
