Observation details
An acquaintance of mine said she was seeing a Kiskadee around her house and sometimes in her backyard. She first saw it last July and has been seeing it again for the first time since last summer this past week. I sat and waited in her backyard, bird appeared at 9:36am. Flew into a nearby tree, called twice, flew down to a bucket of water to drink for about 60 seconds, and then flew off. I could still hear it afterwards about 200 yards away. She has seen the bird in neighbors' trees and sometimes hears it off in the distance, always around 9am to 10am.
