NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial unknown. Gen. Climate: Arid. Cover Density: Medium.) Side A. While there are vocalizations in the background, the Painted Redstart is heard alternating and at the same time as the Oriole. The unmated trogon was recorded as he passed through. This is a rather typical earlky morning medley in this Cave Creek area of the Chiricahua Mts. BNA: [Forty songs by the oriole, two of which were quite appreviated (2:47, 3:48). The loud songs in the foreground between 5:37 and 6:31 are those of Carpodacus mexicanus. Quality unchanged (2-3 - not many other birds but tape hiss is excessive) - CAM - 25 January 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Deciduous Forest, Creek, Riparian.
