NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial paired. Frequency of Sound: Sporadic. Gen. Climate: Arid. Cover Density: Medium.) The short whistles audible in one section is that of one owl as well as the calls and the bark-like sound. It was my expectation to get many calls as the adults came in to feed at the next. I was disappointed at the lack of any food call exchange except for the short sequence of calls when it got dark. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Deciduous Forest, Creek, Riparian.
