Observation details
Great find earlier in the day by Joe Verica, this bird represents the 5th county record. Spent time foraging in shallow water and in mud across the lake from the marina, but best viewed from the point between it and the beach. In nice breeding plumage, only my second ever time seeing this species and a new state bird.
