NOTES: (Confidence in Identification: 50%. Breeding Status: Territorial paired. Gen. Climate: Arid. Cover Density: Medium.) I taped this in poor light and unfortunately never was able to confirm the identity by sight. Without seeing the bird I have a reservation as to identity. Both Hepatic Tanagers and Black-headed Grosbeaks were nesting nearby. Cassette counter 079-090. BNA: Song (twee-hee chu-WAITE cha-ha) is heard. CZ 30/06/2004. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Creek, Riparian.
