White-browed Sparrow-weavers (Plocepasser mahali) are found in semi-arid habitats, particularly in open Acacia and Mopane (Colophospermum mopane) woodland. They are colonial cooperative nesters, with each group member maintaining its nest year-round. These adult White-browed Sparrow-weavers were feeding on the ground in the campground of the Manyane Resort, Pilanesberg National Park in South Africa.
