Observation details
On the property of Braun's Tree Farm, 796 Warren Road, http://www.braunstrees.com, we heard two at the same time that were on either side of the railroad tracks within 50 feet of Warren Road plus a third far away within the farm. We met for the second time Ken Judson, a member of the family who owns the farm, who said his family would be fine with naming an eBird hotspot after his family's farm. He said there are always coveys of Northern Bobwhites here, with the number varying from year to year over more than 30 years. Please see attached photos and audio of the one (male) bird that we were able to see, which was feeding on grain between the railroad tracks and calling frequently, then perched in a nearby fir tree.
