Observation details
Originally located by James Telford on July 4. We arrived at the location at approximately 1600 and soon found the nest with 3 young. We situated ourselves at a good distance and waited in the hope that the adult birds would appear and before long, they obliged. One adult in particular was very accommodating, and made several foraging trips near to us before returning to the nest to feed the young. We observed this individual for about 40 minutes, the only disappointment being that it called only twice during the entire duration of our visit. The other adult made two appearances, once at 1620 and once at 1648. The birds were bright green/yellow in colouration, with a white eyering in teardrop shape. The call was a high pitched, pure "Chee-sweeep". Photos were obtained and will be added when I return home.
