Observation details
Bearded Woodpeckers (Chloropicus namaquus) are widespread in southern Africa, and quite common in Kruger National Park. This female Bearded Woodpeckers was one of a trio that included two males that was feeding on the trunk of a dead acacia in Satara Rest Camp in Kruger National Park.
