Observation details
Original impression in field was Forster's because it appeared to have eye patch, but upon closer inspection of photos I decided to mark it as Common Tern because of dark wing tips. Neither species is likely inland, and both are reviewable year round in CATT county. Willie D'Anna the reviewer contacted me. After talking to Willie D'Anna and Alec Humann, (thanks!) I changed this to Forster's. As a 2nd year bird dark wingtips are fine for FOTE. (Learning new details everyday, in birding!) Pale pearly upper wing, and pale nape, along with eye patch point to FOTE.
