Media notes

Part 1: a male HOWa singing approx. 4 meters up in an uphill hickory tree (but at least 6 meters above me given the slope). Part 2: he moved down to a low spicebush very close to me and ay my level. There were other birds foraging in the spicebush, one of which was a WEWA. Habitat is mixed deciduous (primarily hickory) on a very steep slope; understory is thick with wood nettle, jewel weed, black cohosh, etc.
