Observation details
Had hoped for the chance to glimpse one this morning. After giving up, I was staring out the window as we drove off when I saw one flying out over the water. We immediately stopped the car and pulled over. We saw it fly down into some vegetation. After getting a scope on it, we saw it feeding at least two young, possibly three. I got some awful pictures with my camera, but the mother had turned to fly off again and the young went into hiding before I could get scope pictures. Lifer!
