Observation details
Peak year for this species in the British Isles. From BB, Vol. 79, No. 11; Details of two others, in Cornwall and Surrey, were received too late for inclusion in this report. A remarkable influx, following three blank years. No other year since at least 1958 has produced more than two. [There were 4 accepted records in 1985]. Image of my field notes.
