Observation details
**rare (breeder?); first county record! Appears to be a rare breeder across the state mostly centered around S and SW parts of the state. Came upon pair calling loudly as they worked the ridge line of the hill overlooking the SE corner of Clark Canyon Reservoir the exact coordinates are 44.980639, -112.922499 . Giving loud raspy "chay" call as the moved along the ridge feeding. No sign of actual breeding during my short interaction with them although it is possible. It seems likely that they were a pair although I was unable to positively ID a female. They hung very close together as thy fed as a pair would. Hopefully I can go back soon and relocate Small slim long black tailed passerines with blue gray above and gray white below. White outer tail feathers noted as they moved about. Showed black eyebrow seen well on the male and thin white eyering. Lacking the black cap noted on BTGN. Recorded
