Observation details
Continuing first state record found May 19 by Bill Shepard, heard kekking away as I approached the railroad trestle at 5:45. The bird was initially visible on the wetland edge about 100 yards northwest of the bridge. It was seen well as it walked along the water's edge. The bird then went silent, and to my surprise it walked across the railroad tracks at 6:05 and began kekking infrequently from the northeast wetland until I left.
