Observation details
Continuing peep found by Dick Barth. Seen in river with other peeps just north of Cudahy Park. Slightly larger than nearby Least Sandpipers and a bit smaller than Western Sandpipers. Unlike Westerns, no rufous on scapulars or head, and much finer streaks on breast than Westerns. Pale throat vs. Least’s brownish hooded appearance. Whitish superciliums, straight short thick black bill. Legs were dark, but had a bit of pale mud on them, but they weren't yellow like Least. Photos show partial webs between toes.
