Observation details

Observed for 45 minutes in good sun from 10-40 feet as bird fed in the shallow puddles. Using a field guide and watching the bird we could see the rusty wings, light rufous flanks, black and gray stripes on the back, white throat and light belly, a black line from the eye back with a wide gray eyebrow over it, a indistinct brownish cheek patch, a faint central breast spot. Bird gave one call-3 double churrs.
