Observation details
Day 1 of monitoring the Northern Mockingbird family nesting in my bush. Today, the parents were seen for the first time. The father was in the backyard singing nonstop. I set up a camera to record the nest and caught about 40 minutes worth of footage of the mother incubating the eggs. I also caught her laying a new egg! There are now three eggs in the nest. There were two yesterday.
