Media notes
Behavior and other notes: Adult male Red-eyed Vireo singing abnormal songs from the crown of a Scarlet Oak. His songs sound just as affected as they did on June 22 of this year. At 13:05 I recorded this individual giving a very quiet twittering of notes. There was no obvious behavioral context for this vocalization. This is likely the same individual as in ML243923801. Recording Time: 0525 (UTC -4). Temperature 21C. Habitat: mixed deciduous woods. Distance to sound source: 12.5 meters. Specific location: Sleepy Creek WMA, just west of the ranger station, Berkeley Co., WV. Latitude 39.492747, Longitude -78.130028. Elevation 255 meters. ID’d by sight and sound; ID confidence 100%. Equipment notes: Recorder HPF on at 80Hz, -12dB/octave. Recordist's original filename: WH_20T1293-1295_Red-eyed Vireo abnormal song_Berkeley Co WV_48_ML.wav
