Observation details
We carefully studied a calidrid Sp? for about 2 hours that initially Oscar and I thought might have been a Little Stint. The bird appeared to have a split supercillium, rufous edged coverts and tertials, fairly well defined braces and a relatively short and sharply pointed bill. We got the word out and Todd McGrath got several pictures that suggest the bird looked more like a Western, in particular the bill length and size. OJ notes: looking at these photos many years later (2020), it looks to me like a Western.
