Observation details
Two Caspian Terns were wheeling back and forth across the fully flooded Tranquille Marsh, occasionally dipping down to skim the surface of the water, presumably catching fish. Very noticeable with their large size, orange beak, black cap and sleek build. When flooded, Tranquille Marsh is fully and directly connected to the Thompson River where is enters Kamloops Lake.
