Observation details
Pics and very faint recording. Myiarchus flycatcher. First heard calling - “kib, Kibrrr” alternating these two notes. Seemed to prefer to Perch up on bare branches. Grey rather peaked crown and cheek, fading into whitish throat and breast, wash of yellow on belly. Rufous primaries. Secondaries edged white, noticeable wing bars. Rufous under tail . Bill average for this genus (ie not noticeably large as in a Brown-created). The habitat is good but this has to be getting close to elevation limits for this species just at under 8000’.
