Media notes

Calls and unusual song from at least two birds foraging and interacting in tall cottonwoods along the lakeshore. Typical “jit" calls given frequently, and often interspersed with scold calls and blending into loud chatter series, not commonly heard. Songs even more unusual, rough and uncrystallized. Possibly female song? Or an atypical variation, but similar vocalizations seemed to be given by both birds. Lots of passing cars but decent signal in many places despite this.
