Observation details
This Ibis was by itself when I captured it with a snake in its beak. Earlier that day, I noticed 10 White-faced Ibises together. When these two pictures were added to the Kansas Birders FB page, although rare, it was determined that this was a Glossy Ibis, due to its lack of a full white ring around its eye. Other birders that day also recording seeing a Glossy Ibis at Baker Wetlands.
