Observation details
*Rare. Circled spit at 6:13 but never landed and seemed to continue north. Notes for flyby: Largish Calidris, obviously larger than Least or Semipalmated in flight and smaller than Solitary or Pectoral. Brownish upperparts and distinct white rump patch as it angled away. Then at 6:24, presumably same bird returned and landed on puddle on spit where it foraged for some time. Took off at 7:37 and last seen headed south. Photos.
