Media notes
Chorusing of a Mountain Chorus Frog in the drainage ditch along the access road to the state park lodge. The frogs begin singing when a jet is going over. Perhaps there is something in the frequency spectrum from the jets that stimulates the frogs to sing. An interesting question to research might be if this stimulation makes the frogs more susceptible to predation. Distance: 1 meter. Equipment note: Telinga Pro 7 HPF on. Elevation: 295 m. Confidence in Identification: 100%. How Identified: Sound.
