First the male on the nest and then the fledgling female respectively at 0:06 and 0:12
Observation details
Upon arrival I saw one eaglet roosting on the nest support branch about two or 3 feet away from the edge of the nest. I am quite certain that I heard the calls of two different eaglets-- one rather far away and this one on the nest which was much louder. There’s traffic noise and I will continue to listen. At about 7:38 I heard both eaglets calling and hopefully obtained a recording. The distant eagle seems to be to the south-southeast of the nest. At about 7:45 AM the distant eagle suddenly had moved closer and more to the east of the nest. I got recordings and I think they’re pretty good of both birds calling each other. Also obtains views of the hallx of the eaglet and its nail does not appear to be any longer than that of its 3rd toe, indicating it is likely the male eaglet, and the female has fledged.
